1. The weather & our latest advice on the weather

Light clothes regardless of the season in the south but for the visit of temples and pagodas, make sure you have a top with sleeves (shoulders must be covered) and bottoms going at least up to the knee. From November to March it can get pretty cold in the North, make sure to have warm clothes for mornings and evenings.

Northern Vietnam:

• Dec – Feb: 10°C to 25°C, mostly dry, grey.
• March: 15°C to 30°C, season change, dry.
• April – June: 25°C to 35°C, some heavy showers.
• Sept – Oct: 25°C to 35°C, clear weather, occasional showers.

          Note: from 5°C to 10°C less in the mountains; make sure you have warm clothes.

2. How many golf courses are there in Vietnam?

At the moment, there are approximately 60 golf courses in Vietnam and 60 more under construction. The courses are diverse in years of construction. There are older courses such as Da Lat Palace Golf Club, which were built by the French during their colonial era and finished in 1922, or the first northern golf club built in 1993 – King’s Insland Golf Club. On the other hand, there are newer courses such as Bana Hills Golf Club in Danang, Vin Pearl Golf Club in PhuQuoc… In the past several years, more and more golf are played by foreign visitors from America, Europe, Japan, South Korea, Australia … as well as Vietnamese people. This enthusiasm is the main driven force for rapid golf courses expansion in Vietnam.

3. Transportation

There are various types of transportation in Vietnam. Golfers can travel around by renting a car with driver in Vietnam or using taxi. Other popular choices to travel between major cities are by train or air. At the moment, there are 10 international airports in Vietnam with regular Vietnam domestic flight routes to accommodate the high traffic of travelers in Vietnam.

4. Visa

• To go to Vietnam you must have a valid passport valid at least 6 months after the date of return.
• The Government of Vietnam promulgates the Resolution on Vietnamese Entry Visa Waiver for Citizens of Five European Countries: UK, France, Germany, Spain and Italy. This exemption is applied for a maximum period of 15 days regardless of passport categories and purpose of entry into Vietnam, and is valid until June 30, 2021.
• For any stay lasting more than 15 days, or for a multiple entry stay in a period of less than 15 days, a visa is required. A period of 30 days is required after the last exit from Vietnam in order to once again benefit from the visa waiver measure for a stay not exceeding 15 days.

5. International flight

• Our offer does not include international flights between your country and Vietnam for two reasons:
• International flights from your country are more expensive if purchased in Vietnam. It is therefore more beneficial for you to buy them from a ticketing agency in your country.
• The payment and booking conditions for international flights are strict while it is difficult for us, a local agency, to apply the same conditions to you (full payment before travel). Since international financial transactions give rise to significant bank charges, you will be led to pay unnecessary surcharges.

6. Which language?

• The official and most widely spread language is Vietnamese.
• English is spoken in all touristic areas.

7. Money:

USD, Euro, AUD and GBP are quite popular accepted in main cities in our countries, but travelers should change to local currency at arrival airport, at the hotel or nearby banks. Visa & Master Cards are also popular accepted at big shops at main cities. Check for yourself the amount of money you are allowed to bring out of your country. Foreigners can bring US$ 5,000 to Vietnam. If the amount exceeds mentioned ones, it must be declared at arrival airport.

8. Phone and internet:

Mobile phone service in Vietnam is quite cheap. Phone & internet services and facilities in Vietnam is very developed. The three major providers in Vietnam are Viettel, Vinaphone, and Mobiphone. Wifi could be accessed in most hotels, cafes, and many other facilities in developed area. Just check with the employees there for the Wifi password.

9. Cancellation Policy:

• There may be cancellation fees charged by suppliers (hotels, airlines…) once these bookings are made and paid. These fee shall by paid by travelers.
• These are maximum cancellation fees to be flexible applied:
• Cancellation received after confirmation: Cancellation fees charged by airlines, hotels…(if any)
• Cancellation received from 15 days to 20 days prior arrival date: 10% of total package tour charged + Cancellation fees charged by airlines, hotels…(if any)
• Cancellation received from 3 days to 14 days prior arrival date: 15% of total package tour charged + Cancellation fees charged by airlines, hotels…(if any)
• Cancellation received less than 3 days prior arrival date or during tour or No-Show: 20% of total package tour charged + Used services (if any) + Cancellation fees charged by airlines, hotels…(if any)
