Overview

Luang Prabang is among the best-preserved traditional cities in Southeast Asia and was granted UNESCO World Heritage Site status in 1995. Its tranquility and tropical charm, combined with its splendid natural scenery and cultural riches, make it one of the most alluring destinations in Laos.

Itinerary:

Luang Prabang Outskirt Biking Tour ( L)
Meet up at your hotel and depart from Luang Prabang, head towards Ban Phanom village which is famous for it’s weaving. Take time to look around and learn about Lao textile weaving, then continue onwards along the banks of the river Khan before arriving at the amazing Henri Mohot Tomb. Here you’ll spend a while looking around.
Cross the Nam Khan River via fishing boat, and head onwards to Ban Pickyai village which is home to both Youane & Leu ethnic minorities. The river cruise along the way passes through several rural villages, rice fields and some spectacular scenery before arriving at the village.
Continue onwards to pass through more ethic villages including Ban Kokvan a village of Khmu ethnic minority and Ban Bohae a Hmong village. Here you’ll stop for a while to enjoy a picnic lunch and take some time to relax. After lunch hop on again on our way back to Luang Prabang, stop for a visit at Ban Xang Khong which is famous for it’s handmade ‘Sa’ paper.
