Muong village, exploring Thai culture in Lac – Na Phon – Poong Com villages
8:00 AM: Meet tour guide and driver then depart to Mai Chau. On the way, visit a Muong village. Continue toThungKhe pass where you can view magnificent panoramic views of the valley before arriving in Mai Chau town. Mai Chau is a beautiful valley located 145 km away from Hanoi. It is great place with harmonious landscapes, green mountain ranges, rice terraces and White Thai ethnic villages.
Arrive in Mai Chau, check in your accommodation and have a break for lunch. In the afternoon, take a 5km bike ride(optional) or walk to the rice fields. Discover the culture and daily life of the locals in Lac, Na Phon, Poong Com villages. See the rural work on rice fields, the weaving craftsman, and encounter with locals. Discovering Eo Ken, Ban hang villages, Chieng Lau discovery
Depart from MaiChau directly to Eo Ken, 30km away, where theMuong ethnics live. Walk down the slope and enjoy the spectacular view of PuLuong Nature reserve, rice field terraces and mountains. Visit a Muong ethnic family in EoKen village and discover their authentic life. Continue walking through this beautiful landscape and cross a stream to reach HangVillage.
Pick up by car then travel to PuLuong to enjoy lunch. Later transfer to Chieng Lau, a beautiful rice field area with bamboo water wheels. Walk through the field to the village and encounter the locals to discover their life, culture and customs.
Come back to your accommodation. Set up dinner at PuLuong retreat. Stay overnight in PuLuong.

DAY 4: PU LUONG LIGHT TREK AND VISIT VILLAGE (B,L)

Full day trek to the KhoMuong village of Thai people, following Uoi, LanNgoai villages
8:00 AM: Start a trekking day to discover the PuLuong Nature preservation and its inhabitants. Transfer 5 km from your accommodation on 15C road on direction to KhoMuong village. Start to trek on the path to the most remote village in PuLuong, located in the valley and surrounded by the beautiful lime stone mountains and rice terraces. KhoMuong is home to Thai ethnic group. Haveyour camera ready to capture the breathtaking scenery of rice terraces and encounter the locals en route.Lunch will be served in the homestay at KhoMuong Village.
In the afternoon, continue following the trails in the forest and the manioc field to reach Uoi village, a beautiful village home to another Thai ethnic group who still preserve their thatched houses. Keep walking to LanNgoai Village before transferring back to your accommodation.

1/ The weather & our latest advice on the weather
Light clothes regardless of the season in the south but for the visit of temples and pagodas, make sure you have a top with sleeves (shoulders must be covered) and bottoms going at least up to the knee. From November to March it can get pretty cold in the North, make sure to have warm clothes for mornings and evenings.
Northern Vietnam:
- Dec – Feb: 10°C to 25°C, mostly dry, grey.
- March: 15°C to 30°C, season change, dry.
- April – June: 25°C to 35°C, some heavy showers.
- Sept – Oct: 25°C to 35°C, clear weather, occasional showers.
Note: from 5°C to 10°C less in the mountains; make sure you have warm clothes.
2/ Visa
- To go to Vietnam you must have a valid passport valid at least 6 months after the date of return.
- The Government of Vietnam promulgates the Resolution on Vietnamese Entry Visa Waiver for Citizens of Five European Countries: UK, France, Germany, Spain and Italy. This exemption is applied for a maximum period of 15 days regardless of passport categories and purpose of entry into Vietnam, and is valid until June 30, 2021.
- For any stay lasting more than 15 days, or for a multiple entry stay in a period of less than 15 days, a visa is required. A period of 30 days is required after the last exit from Vietnam in order to once again benefit from the visa waiver measure for a stay not exceeding 15 days.

3/ International flight
- Our offer does not include international flights between your country and Vietnam for two reasons:
- International flights from your country are more expensive if purchased in Vietnam. It is therefore more beneficial for you to buy them from a ticketing agency in your country.
- The payment and booking conditions for international flights are strict while it is difficult for us, a local agency, to apply the same conditions to you (full payment before travel). Since international financial transactions give rise to significant bank charges, you will be led to pay unnecessary surcharges.
4/ Which language?
- The official and most widely spread language is Vietnamese.
- English is spoken in all touristic areas.
5/ Cancellation Policy:
- More than 30 days before arrival: no cancellation charge will be done (Client’s non-refundable deposit will be forfeited)
- 14-29 days before arrival: 10% of the cost of the tour is forfeited
- 10-13 days before arrival: 40% of the cost of the tour is forfeited
- Within 10 days before arrival: 100 % of the cost of the tour is forfeited
