SOUTHERN LAOS WHITE WATER ADVENTURE

SOUTHERN LAOS WHITE WATER ADVENTURE (L)
Approximately 1 hour walking, 40 minutes transfer and 5 hours kayaking.
We depart from Pakse and head south passing through massive rubber plantations until we reach a small village. We take a short walk down the hill from the village, to the river bank. Here our guides will give a safety briefing and some paddling instructions before we begin paddling downstream through jungle.
We kayak down multiple sets of exciting rapids. Continuing on through the rapids we pass an impressive waterfall cascading into the river. We carry on downstream until we stop to enjoy a picnic lunch of local Lao food. We will have our lunch on the river bank, opposite a towering waterfall which springs out of the deep jungle, cascading down into the river below.
After swimming and relaxing we start paddling downstream again. Along the way we pass through some beautiful scenery and will likely see some local people fishing and children playing in the river. In the late afternoon we arrive at our end point and return back to Pakse in time for sunset.
Noted:
– This is a physical tour that requires you to have a good level of fitness, previous kayaking experience and the ability to swim 50 meters unassisted.
 – This tour is only available from July to September, when the water level ensures the best experience.
– You should bring : Hat, Sunscreen,  Insect Repellent, Swimming Suits, Clothes and shoes you can get wet , Change of clothes for th shoes e return journey (optional), Refillable water bottle
