DAY 1:LUANG PRABANG ARRIVAL

Arrival in Luang Prabang airport, you will be picked up then transferred to the hotel for check in
(Check-in time is 14.00 PM, early check-in is not included in itinerary and subject to availability).
Free & easy by your own to explore Luang Prabang city. Lunh & dinner are your own . Overnighty at hotel in Luang Prabang.

DAY 2: LUANG PRABANG - FULL DAY SIGHT SEEING (B)

For early risers, there is a very special dawn visit to watch the monks collecting the alms.  As the sun begins to rise, long lines of orange-robed monks leave their pagodas and walk barefoot down the streets collecting offerings from Luang Prabang residents.  It is a beautiful, serene ceremony that highlights the spiritualism of the Laos people. Visit Morning Market where you can find all ingredients for local food.
Return to your hotel for breakfast.
After breakfast, we visit the National Museum at the former Royal Palace, which displays a lovely collection of the artifacts reflecting the richness of Lao culture dating from the days of the early kings right through the last sovereign. Continue our city tour with the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham, Wat Mai. Lunch is your own arrangement
In the afternoon, we visit the city’s oldest temple of Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xieng Thong with its roofs sweeping low to the ground, which represent the classical architecture of Luang Prabang temple, we then climb up to the top of Phousi Mount for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as a beautiful sunset view of the city and the Mekong River.
From there, we explore Street Night Bazaar, where you can find the lovely collection and handmade textile by local and hill tribe people surrounding Luang Prabang. Dinner is your own arrangement. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

DAY 3: LUANG PRABANG – KUANGSI WATERFALLS (B)

Approximately 40 minutes transfer
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel
After breakfast, you will drive through the Luang Prabang countryside to Kuang Si Waterfalls.  Along the way by the Mekong River you will see gorgeous landscapes of many rice fields, hills and villages. You will visit an ethnic minority at a village where their local culture has remained unchanged for centuries.
Upon reaching Kuang Si Waterfalls, relax and enjoy the magnificent natural surroundings. Afterwards we return to the Luang Prabang and be free at leisure. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

DAY 4: LUANG PRABANG – PAK OU CAVE - NONGKHIAW (B)

Luang Prabang – Pak Ou cave ~ 45 minutes transfer
Pak Ou Cave – Nong Khiaw ~ 2.5 hours transfer
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel
After breakfast, we travel for 32km by car to Pak Ou cave and along the way stop to visit the whisky village and discover how the villagers make Lau Lao (potent rice whisky) then continue to the cave where a thousand Buddha figures are kept.
After the visits, we leave from Pak Ou to Nong Khiaw. This route will take three hours by car with the beautiful mountain view.
Upon arrival to Nong Khiaw, check in your resort and be free at leisure. Overnight in Nong Khiaw.

DAY 5: NONG KHIAW – BOAT TRIP TO MUONG NGOY (B)

Approximately 1.5 hour ride a boat trip
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel
In the morning, take a boat trip along Nam Ou River, the homeland of river weed that you might eat in your breakfast. You will see how local people collect river weed along the river. Water of the river has beautifully green color.
Also here and there, hundreds of water buffalos and pigs relaxing on cool sand of river banks. Disembark Muong Ngoy village, take a short walk around the village and visit Tham Kang and Tham Pha Kaew. Return to Nong Kiaw at noon time and be free at leisure.

DAY 6: NONG KHIAW - LUANG PRABANG DEPARTURE (B)

Be free at leisure in Nong Khiaw until check out time. Meet our driver again and travel back to Luang Prabang in a good time to connect to your departure flight.

The weather & our latest advice on the weather

Light clothes regardless of the season in the south and centre but for the visiting of temples and pagodas, make sure you have a top with sleeves (shoulders must be covered) and bottoms going at least up to the knee.

  • Dec – April : 10°C to 25°C, Cool and mostly dry, Special From Jan to Feb : cold, From Mar to April dry and very hot,
  • May – Nov: 25°C to 35°C, Rainy season

          Note: from 5°C to 10°C less in the mountains; make sure you have warm clothes.

  • To go to Laos you must have a valid passport valid at least 6 months after the date of return.
  • The Citizens of the following countries are also exempt from Laos visas: Vietnam ( 30 days), Brunei (14 days), Cambodia (30 days), Indonesia (30 days), Japan (15 days ), Luxembourg (15 days), Malaysia (30 days), Mongolia (30 days), Myanmar (14 days), Philippines (30 days), Singapore (30 days), Korea (15 days), Switzerland (15 days), Thailand (30 days) and Russia (30 days).

  1. International flight

Our offer does not include international flights between your country and Laos for two reasons:

  • International flights from your country are more expensive if purchased in Vietnam or Laos. It is therefore more beneficial for you to buy them from a ticketing agency in your country.
  • The payment and booking conditions for international flights are strict while it is difficult for us, a local agency, to apply the same conditions to you (full payment before travel). Since international financial transactions give rise to significant bank charges, you will be led to pay unnecessary surcharges.

  • The official and most widely spread language is Laos
  • English is spoken in all touristic areas.
  1. Cancellation Policy:
  • More than 30 days before arrival: no cancellation charge will be done (Client’s non-refundable deposit will be forfeited)
  • 14-29 days before arrival: 10% of the cost of the tour is forfeited
  • 10-13 days before arrival: 40% of the cost of the tour is forfeited
  • Within 10 days before arrival: 100 % of the cost of the tour is forfeited
