VANG VIENG CHALLENGE - XTREME

Approximately 30 min. transfer, 4 hours trekking, 1 hour via ferrata, 3 hours ziplining and abseiling
We start early and drive north out of Vang Vieng to a small village where we cross the Nam Song River. We then start our trek walking through rice fields and farms. We soon reach the mountain range and we make some steep ascends. As we hike further into the jungle the terrain gets steeper and steeper. The real challenge of today starts with crossing a gorge at the bottom of the waterfall on a cable bridge before beginning the via ferrata ascent to the top.
If the time allows us to do so, our next challenge is a 50 m waterfall thundering down the mountain face we will climb up the side of this waterfall using a via ferrata before abseiling down the face of the waterfall, into the pool below.
We then begin our zip lining adventure! Fly through the canopy and above the jungle from platform to platform. Some of these platforms are almost 50 metres above the ground anchored in the crowns of mighty trees. Abseil down to the ground over the edge of these platforms and before crossing another cable bridge. Continue zip-lining through the forest before walking back through the rice fields until the waiting transportation brings us back to Vang Vieng. Depending on how long it takes us to get through the jungle we may have to walk the last part of the hike in the dark.
Transfer back to tour hotel in the evening. End the Vang Vieng challenge xtreme 1 day tour
Noted:
– Expect a very long and challenging day.
– Depending on how fast and fit you are there is a very good chance that you will be walking through the jungle in the dark.
– This is an extremely physical day and you must have an excellent level of fitness.
-The weight limit for all our zipline tours is 120kg. -Specially in dry season, the weather may be hot.
– You should bring : Hat, Sunscreen,  Insect Repellent comfortable Trekking clothes including goof quality trekking, Swimming Suits, Clothes and shoes you can get wet , Change of clothes for th shoes e return journey (optional), Refillable water bottle
