2. Dry Island

5. Cu Lao Xanh Island

7. Twin Towers
Twin towers are a building located on Tran Hung Dao Street, Dong Da Ward, Quy Nhon City. These towers were built in the late twelfth century with bold Champa architecture consisting of 2 towers.
The northern tower is 20m in height while the southern one is 18m in height. After experiencing many events over time, these are destroyed and damaged heavily.
Until 2008, they have been invested and renovated in accordance with the original shape and architecture. Now, the twin towers are an attractive tourist destination of Binh Dinh Province.
8. Ghenh Rang Tien Sa
Ghenh Rang stretching along the blue coast and from this position, you can see Quy Nhon City. This place also has Da Trung Beach with loads of smooth rounded rocks as giant bird eggs and Qeen Beach. From the hillside, you can see the whole eastern side of Quy Nhon City as an ink wash painting.

9. Seo Island
The small Seo Island is located to the southeast of Nhon Ly Commune, about 5km from the mainland. It takes you 20-30 minutes to visit that place by boat or canoe.
Here, most of the beaches are shingle beaches (no sand) made up of cliffs eroded so they have deep water. Below are coral reefs so it’s very suitable for exploring seabed, catching kinds of snails like Oc Vu Nang, abalone… or fishing.
In Seo Island, there are a lot of cave arches which are created from cliffs so there is a scenic beauty. However, it’s pretty difficult to moor boats, ships here due to the coral reefs and deep water even it’s also hard to move boats ashore.
10. Thi Nai Bridge
This is Vietnam’s longest cross-sea bridge even the longest one in Southeast Asia. It is in Nhon Hoi Bridge and road system, nearly 7km in length and connecting to Quy Nhon City with Phuong Mai Island. This magnificent bridge was completed in 2006 (within 4 years).
The main bridge crosses Thi Nai Lagoon while 5 small bridges cross Ha Thanh River. Thi Nai Lagoon is also an attractive point with the peaceful landscape. In particular, when sunset (if it is still sunny) or at night, when the bridge lights up, it is really beautiful.
However, if you want to keep visiting, you should be there from 3:00 – 4:00 pm. Just need to cross Thi Nai Bridge, you will see Nhon Hoi. This area is planning to build Nhon Hoi Economic Zone in large scale. It is surrounded by flying sand hills as beautiful as the sand dunes in Phan Thiet.

11. Ham Ho River
Ham Ho is a river with nearly 3km in length and about 30m in width. It has a lot of marble outcroppings in full of different sizes and strange shapes.
It is located in Phu Lam Hamlet, Tay Phu Commune, Tay Son District, Binh Dinh Province and is distant Quy Nhon City 50km to the Northwest.
Moreover, it is situated in the heart of Kut River flowing into Kon River so water in Ham Ho is blue all year round with a very spectacular beauty. The front side is the scene of the mountain extending endlessly while two sides of river bank with shady primeval forest are the steep cliff.

How to get to Quy Nhon?
- Flights to Quy Nhon
Depending on where you are traveling from, there are several different ways to get to Quy Nhon. If you are coming from Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City, you can fly into Phu Cat airport with any of the main airlines (Vietnam Airlines, VietJet, Jetstar Pacific). After the short 60-minute flight, grab a taxi. To get one back to the airport, ask the operator where the pick-up stations are in town, so you can easily find one when you head out.
- Train to Quy Nhon
There are daily trains to Quy Nhon from Hanoi (SE1, SE3 – fastest, SE5, SE7) and HCM as well (SE2, SE4 – fastest, SE6, SE8, SE26). All these trains (except from SE26) also connect Quy Nhon and Nha Trang, Phu Yen, Hue, Da Nang, Hoi An, etc. If you want to travel from Hoi An or from Nha Trang to Quy Nhon for example, just board one of these. Note that the train’s departure time can be very early in the morning. Here you can find the timetable for all trains to Quy Nhon (sorry only in Vietnamese).
To travel to Quy Nhon, you need to stop at Dieu Tri Train Station. From here, you can take a taxi to Quy Nhon center at around 10-15usd
- Coach to Quy Nhon

The bus journey from HCM or Hanoi to Quy Nhon is quite long (around 15 – 18 hours). If you opt for this means of transport (which is 2 times cheaper than taking a train), it’s better to choose a night bus with berth for your comfort
- Get around Quy Nhon
Being a small coastal town, you can get around the center of Quy Nhon and to the nearest beach by foot. That’s practical since you don’t have to worry about keeping a bike safe. If you plan on doing some day-trips though, it’s better to have a bicycle (if you want to exercise) or a motorbike (if you want to go further faster). Many hostels and hotels provide bikes for free so be sure to ask about that when you check in. To find a reliable motorcycle rental you should also check with your hotel’s staff. They will know where to go to get a good bike at a fair price (around 100,000 to 120,000 VND per day).
For longer excursions and if the cost is not a big issue but comfort is a priority, you can get a driver to take you to places outside of Quy Nhon. Again, the hotel can help you find someone trustworthy and at a good rate.

- Swimming: Are there sharks in Quy Nhon beach?
There used to be some accidents involving sharks in Quy Nhon Vietnam. However, just follow your common sense and you’ll be alright. Don’t swim too far away. Don’t swim where nobody else’s near you. And don’t swim in areas not recommended by the local security officers. I actually have not heard of any other shark attack in Quy Nhon for several years now.
